With our whole beef share, you will receive approximately 450-500 lbs of our premium pasture-raised dry aged beef, customized to fit your family’s needs.

Approximately 50% of that will be premium steaks, roasts, brisket, stew meat, and other select cuts; the other 50% will be ground beef or burger patties. The cuts you receive will depend on the size of your animal and your cut and wrap instructions.

You will need around 16-18 cubic feet of freezer space for a whole beef.

YOU are responsible for picking up your beef at Cloud's Meats location for 1/2 & whole beef shares. Their address is 2013 Paradise Lane, Carthage, MO 64836

½ & Whole Beefs are billed based on hanging weight. On average, our whole beef hanging weight is 840 lbs. We will send your final invoice to you after we receive hanging weights from Cloud’s.  

Our current price per pound hanging weight is $4.25

Exact cost on beef shares is unknown until the beef is processed. Here's an estimated cost:

The total price for a Whole Beef  is approximately $4,620.00

$500 deposit + $3,070 +/- due before pick up + $1,050 Processing Fee ($1.25/lb +/- paid to Clouds Meats)

 *You need to Include your Cell Number when reserving a 1/2 or Whole Beef. This will be used to notify you.

To secure your beef share:

  1. Pay our $500 deposit to reserve your animal; this will be deducted from the final balance. Payments may be made online or via mailing a check. (If mailing a check - PLEASE email us at Hosmancattleco@gmail.com so we ensure to hold your reservation).

  2. When ordering please make sure to INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER so we can notify you on your beef order, etc.

  3. We will personally reach out to you via email a few weeks before the butcher date to provide you with an informational pamphlet that has available cut options. If this is your first experience with a beef share or if you would like assistance in tailoring the cuts to best suit your family's needs, feel free to schedule a call with us, to go over how to have your beef processed. We are here to help.

  4. Cloud's Meats will contact you and help walk you through cut selections for your beef order about a week after your butcher date.

  5. You will receive an email from us when your beef has been processed and we have the hanging weight for the final invoice.

  6. Your remaining balance will be due before pickup. We accept Cash, Check, Venmo, Pay-Pal for the remaining balance. Or we can bill you online and add on a credit card fee.
